From the moment you enter the lobby of the Grand Hotel you will appreciate its style which combines elegance, comfort and hospitality. A masterful collection of paintings by Ukrainian artists awaits you in the halls of the hotel. The Grand Hotel was stylishly renovated in 1992 to preserve the original facade, designed by famous architects E. Germatnik and L. Marconi and many unique architectural features of the rooms and restaurant. Each room is individually decorated to meet the needs of every guest. Also, our fitness center provides everything you need for fun, sport and relaxation.
While this hotel has an official rating of 4-stars, in Lviv it is one of few places that has high standards of a 5-star hotel. Check-in was easy and flawless, with receptionists giving some tips as to where to eat out and what to see. The room was spacious and clean. Do ask for a room facing the main street. It may be occasional loud during the day, but the view is magnificent. The breakfast was ample.
I stayed here in 2006 and it was a breath of fresh air after trekking through the surrounding areas looking for dead ancestors. We had a "reservation" at a private home for the night and just couldn't do the rustic Ukrainian thing another night. We were looking for something with modern amenities like room service and a good BLT after too many nights in small farming villages.
